I've been reading alot of info about backing up and using the dump command. This seems to be the solution. But I am familar with window and I use my WinOS for sole use to back up the partition installing FreeBSD (4 gigs). I am using a product call Parogon, the difference between backing up Windows and Unix is that when Windows is backed up it using compression, but not in freeBSD so I have a 4 gig back up copy. I realize dump doesn't copy the free Space. Is it posible for a windows package to compress it as dump does?
