There are now more programs in /bin and /sbin. There are a zillion
modules. Also, /tmp is now used for install programs, which increase
the requirement. It looks like binaries are bloaded another 10k each
over their 4.x days, and we have a few new ones (eg, setfacl). Also,
the 5.0 sh is 714k while the 4.x one is 455k. So we're indeed
entering the bloat-o-matic stage.
One can likely do it with 20M, but I picked 30M as a safe figure to
give to people that might not be extreme experts on recoving these
things.
