Are we talking about the same file? From what I can see, the German FAQ
hasn't synced up with 1.555 of the English FAQ yet. As to the changes,
the only stuff out of the ordinary that I added was the bookinfo entity
reference, and the bookinfo.legalnotice; usage. But those have have been
in the German CVS tree since the 9th June last year.
Can you explain in more detail what the problem is, and what you had to
do to work around it?

PS: On the offchance that you're talking about the citerefentry stuff,
(which wasn't in 1.555 of the FAQ) I was under the impression that
that generated a diagnostic message only, and didn't otherwise
impact the output. Was that wrong?
