            Bug ID: 251601
Summary: tcpdump in a shell script parameters no recording log
                    file
           Product: Base System
           Version: 12.2-STABLE
          Hardware: amd64
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: bin
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: ag@x86.ch

Help:
No recording to be seen in the log

Create a script and run it

What's going on:

tcpdump > /log.log

What is not possible is:

tcpdump port 22 > /log.log

What I mean:

Cannot record with option as example

tcpdump -->> "port 22" <<--

Everything goes well without parameters

But why ?

Thanks
MrX86 Adi Gassmann
