actually, Jordan stated in an interview for Boardwatch magazine that the
power macintosh g3 is the initial reference platform

... however, i'm pretty sure you're on track that there's bsdi for
embedded powerpc now (as well as net/openbsd) codebases that'll contibute
to the port.
