Hello folks,
I was wondering if any one could offer some insight on getting an intel
82801G HD audio card working in 6.x. I noticed that there was a commit
that added support for the GB and others to ich.c, but the G isn't
supported. I tried adding the id, and using the logic for the GB but I
get a:
pcm0: <Intel ICH7 (82801G)> mem 0xeedf8000-0xeedfbfff irq 19 at device
27.0 on pci0
pcm0: unable to map IO port space
device_attach: pcm0 attach returned 6
Here is a boot -v on the card:
found-> vendor=0x8086, dev=0x27d8, revid=0x01
bus=0, slot=27, func=0
class=04-03-00, hdrtype=0x00, mfdev=0
cmdreg=0x0006, statreg=0x0010, cachelnsz=4 (dwords)
lattimer=0x00 (0 ns), mingnt=0x00 (0 ns), maxlat=0x00 (0 ns)
intpin=a, irq=11
powerspec 2 supports D0 D3 current D0
MSI supports 1 message, 64 bit
map[10]: type 1, range 64, base eedf8000, size 14, enabled
pcib0: matched entry for 0.27.INTA
pcib0: slot 27 INTA hardwired to IRQ 19
and here is a pciconf -lv
pcm0@pci0:27:0: class=0x040300 card=0x817f1043 chip=0x27d88086 rev=0x01
hdr=0x00
vendor = 'Intel Corporation'
device = '82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio'
class = multimedia
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
-Joel
