https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D260898 --- Comment #15 from Bob Frazier <bobf@mrp3.com> --- Using the 'workaround' settings I have occasionally seen problems in video playback. The problems are MUCH less frequent but have not completely been resolved. In one case a video suddenly went 'out of sync' between sound and video, and shortly afterwards a different video suddenly stopped playback several seco= nes before the end. I have not seen this happen before nor since. I have also seen one case of bad audio playback distortion, coupled with a stall in video playback, specifically the kind of audio distortion that sou= nds as if 0.1 seconds of audio is being repeated for over 1 second... like a "raspberry" sound. (this was common without the workaround). So if the problem is related to timing events in video playback, then a pro= blem that occasionally causes severe timing errors is still there. Using sysutils/nbosd I occasionally check CPU frequency and most of the time the freq seems to be staying at 1550Mhz since the system is mostly idle. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
