SMC 1211TX (EZ Card) is the best in terms of compatibility, no problems even in an oldish 7200/90 Power Macintosh or Be OS on Intel. Boy, it even works with Windows 2000! <G> Just plug it in. I heard somebody said that its performance is bad and Intel is the only way to go, but I also heard it is very close in performance to both Intel and 3COM, and their SMC 9432TX (Ether Power II) beats those. I have no means to make a thorough comparison test, so I can not tell, but it is the most compatible card I ever came across. -- Best regards, Y To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
