On stable/11 kernel, both with and without this patch, netmap doesn't work. suricata cannot capture any packets. counters are always zero. On releng/11.2 kernel (FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-p8 #0 r343486), netmap with suricata works. But ixl patch cannot be applied. I tested release/12.0, releng/12.0 and stable/12 also. Netmap doesnt work on all 12.0 branches. suricata cannot capture any packets. counters are always zero.
