The "In Memoriam" section is part of the FreeBSD Developers list. See https://reviews.freebsd.org/D49185 There is a procedure in there for notifying the community when a FreeBSD developer (or any team member) passes away. Once that is committed, I have a patch for putting Hans Petter Selasky into "In Memoriam" ready to go.
