Dear all, I have got the FreeBSD 3.4-stable CD. I installed it on my computer which has the IP 11.11.11.11 I choose it to be NFS server, and client also. I tried to install FreeBSD on another computer which has the IP 22.22.22.22 I did the following 1 - In my computer (11.11.11.11), I added the line /cdrom -ro 22.22.22.22 2 - On the other computer, I choose NFS as the setup media and I gave the NFS file specs 11.11.11.11:/cdrom That exactly what was written in the CD manual to install using NFS, but it did not work. On my computer(11.11.11.11) I got "mount request denied from 22.22.22.22 for /cdrom" On the other computer(22.22.22.22) I got the message "Error mounting 11.11.11.11:/cdrom on /dist: no such file or directory" I mounted the CD on my computer and tried again, but I got the same result. I appreciate your help. Thanks Ahmed ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
