Hmmm, after going through a number of iterations of: bc@pcharnkov /usr/src$ cvs checkout -d sys freebsd/src/sys bc@pcharnkov /usr/src$ cvs checkout -d usr.sbin/config freebsd/src/usr.sbin/config [yadda yadda, cvs tree on local machine is cvsup'd daily] bc@pcharnkov /usr/src/usr.sbin/config$ make [yadda yadda, its a wee P133] bc@pcharnkov /usr/src/sys/i386/conf$ /usr/src/usr.sbin/config/config GENERIC config: line 16: Unknown machine type config: line 16: syntax error ..(lines 17,18,19,20,35,36)... config: line 38: syntax error config: can't open ../conf/devices.(null) and similar, I got frustrated and deleted the /usr/src/{usr.sbin,sys,CVS} trees and started again. I *hate* incorrect CVS data. (And yes, it does compile now) Point being, if it doesn't work, use a bigger hammer. ;) --==-- Bruce. CVS, now more ways to shoot yourself in the foot.
