While I too run OS X (but I use Mail.app and Mulberry -- having long ago 
ditched the clunky and buggy Eudora), I use Mulberry on Linux (yes, I 
will admit to having a Linux desktop that I boot once in a while), and 
on Windows.  I suspect the Linux version will run on FreeBSD.  If you 
use IMAP, Mulberry is a great client, though the interface is not the 
greatest.  It supports POP but since I have never tried it with POP I 
don't know how well it works.

who uses FreeBSD on the server and OS X everywhere else pretty much.  
(Above mentioned Linux box probably has not been booted this year :-)
