Lots of people do this, as suggested by others in this thread. As a -doc person, with an @freebsd.org mail address, I have to be careful in what I say. I don't want anyone to get the idea that these solutions are FreeBSD's Official Supported Solutions. Having said that: Yep, works just fine. Kill all processes that might interfere, and go for it!
