IIRC, upper layer requires the bouncing back multicast packets sent out in =
some
circumstances. So it is arbitrary to drop them unconditionally.

This is a quit old report and FreeBSD-9.1 is not supported any longer. Shou=
ld
repeat on recent release versions, 12.3 or 13.1 .
