This works for me on a Supermicro P8SCT whereas the old code did not (it 
did not appear to reset the wdt :)

ichwd module loaded
ichwd0: <Intel 82801FB/FR watchdog timer> on isa0
ichwd0: Intel 82801FB/FR watchdog timer (TCO version 2)

(I tested killing watchdogd and the PC was rebooted on spec)
