Prerequisites for building a release:

      1. The CVS repository on your system, with CVSROOT
         pointing to it.

      2. The vn device configured into your kernel.

      3. Lots of free disk space (~400MB).

See /usr/src/release/Makefile for details on what else needs to be
set.  This is also advanced class material and if you're not already
fairly advanced in your knowledge of FreeBSD, it's really not
something you should even be trying to use.
