I think someone else already mention this, but it bears 
repeating ...

.. should we name these Python modules and extensions py-whatever, 
much as the Perl 5 modules and extensions are p5-whatever?

There are about half-a-dozen Python add-ons in the ports tree
now.  It would be a good time to decide something.
