Hi,
I just tried to install the 3.0-970911-SNAP on a machine with
2 gig of memory installed. The boot process spit the following
out after the config screen:
panic: bounce memory out of range
Automatic reboot in 15 seconds: Press any key on the console to abort
I removed all but 256Meg and the machine booted ok, and I then
removed options BOUNCE_BUFFERS and it now boots just fine...
Question: I seem to remember an npx0 flag that could set the
amount of usable memory in the system that can only
be used in cli mode... But, I can't find any reference
to it in the doc or the code...
Anyone got a pointer?
Thanks,
John
