Hi folks, trying to set my wireless card (the broadcom) to 54mbps. I have been noticing that my connection is ridiculously slow since installing freebsd. Right now my ifconfig looks like this (note the 1Mbps): ndis0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet6 fe80::290:4bff:fe61:dcdb%ndis0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x4 inet 192.168.0.3 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.0.255 ether 00:90:4b:61:dc:db media: IEEE 802.11 Wireless Ethernet autoselect mode 11g (DS/1Mbps) status: associated ssid NETGEAR 1:NETGEAR channel 11 authmode OPEN powersavemode OFF powersavesleep 100 rtsthreshold 2312 protmode CTS wepmode MIXED weptxkey 1 wepkey 1:40-bit Thanks!
