Well, I just downloaded and burnt 5.2.1 Alpha and tried to boot it up and it bailed out while booting (just after an EISA Bridge message) with: Unexpected machine check Well I guess that means I now am stuck with Tru64. 5.1 Didn't load (doesn't seem to have drivers for the DAC960 included in the 5.1 Kernel), so I guess I will install 4.something and then maybe try an upgrade. Damn, I would really have preferred Open Source. Any suggestions? Are any other BSDs more complete in there 2100 support? cm ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wilko Bulte" <wkb@freebie.xs4all.nl> To: "Chris Martin" <outsidefactor@iinet.net.au> Cc: <freebsd-alpha@freebsd.org> Sent: Saturday, March 13, 2004 8:37 AM Subject: Re: DAC 960 Tools > On Sat, Mar 13, 2004 at 08:29:36AM +1100, Chris Martin wrote: > > I don't know, but I have sincere doubts.
