kern/18756 contains a patch. with these two patches, suspend/resume
finally works for me, both via "apm -z" and Fn-Esc.
suspend-to-disk also works, but only via Fn-F12. "apm -Z" just
results in this syslog message:
"Entire system suspend failure: errcode = 96".
