I checked some messages in freebsd-stable mailing list (especially thread "Any patch for fxp driver?") and understood that I should tell more about my system: * Intel dual server motherboard (currently just one Pentium II 350Mhz), with onboard SCSI and video (sorry don't know model title) * Two Intel Ether Express 10/100 cards * 10Mbit Lan with 10Mbit 16 ports Compex hub Is there any chance to get fxp driver with my NICs to work properly? Thanks for your help, but I haven't opportunity to test these network cards on some other system and want to be sure, before upgrading my system to 4.3-STABLE. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jonathan Lemon <jlemon@flugsvamp.com> Newsgroups: lucky.freebsd.questions Sent: Saturday, June 16, 2001 11:49 PM Subject: Re: Does fxp driver work in FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE? > In article <local.mail.freebsd-questions/20010616195251.Q28321-100000@lion.com.ua> you write: > >Hi All, > > > >I've got Intel motherboard and two Intel Ethernet cards: > > > >fxp0: <Intel Pro 10/100B/100+ Ethernet> port 0x1060-0x107f mem > >0xfa000000-0xfa0fffff,0xfa204000-0xfa204fff irq 11 at device 11.0 on > >pci0 > >fxp1: <Intel Pro 10/100B/100+ Ethernet> port 0x1080-0x109f mem > >0xfa100000-0xfa1fffff,0xfa205000-0xfa205fff irq 5 at device 15.0 on pci0 > > > >Currently my server runs FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE, I'm going to upgrade it to > >4.3-STABLE.
