It's a Good Thing. The BSD license might not be a Good Thing for every
project, but it certainly is for FreeBSD. Mac or Windows using FreeBSD
code can in no way harm the FreeBSD project, but it will benefit Mac and
Windows. It's a net gain. And as a bonus, commercial entities that use
FreeBSD software very often contribute back.
