Seriously, don't forget the entire point of a gui is to isolate you further and further from what is actually going on, so you learn less and less. The 'dumbing down' of the userbase is what it is. If you can get them dumbed down enough so they are completely helpless, then they will start paying you for free software. The original BSD used a shell script to install, if you can believe it. We never used to get questions of the form "how do I add a disk drive to my system" until they went away from that. Ted
