Start eg. with 8 1TB hard disks in one raidz2 (da0-da7)
replace 1 disk at a time with a 2TB disk
using zpool replace tank da<x>
Using ZFSv28, do
zpool set autoextend=on tank
zpool online -e tank da0
zpool online -e tank da1
..
zpool online -e tank da7
and have 11.3 GB available instead of 5.6 GB.
