You may remember my problems awhile ago with playing CDs in my CD-ROM. I've
exchanged the CD to a more recent firmware but the problems are always
here.
The drive came from an Apple Quadra and it is Matsuchita specially modified
for Apple (no volume control nor headphones on the front). The probe
messages are as follows :

What is puzzling is that cdplay, xdcplayer and workman are able to find the
toc of the audio disk and all the times

but every try at playing music is greeted by a
CD>play 1
cdplay: Input/output error
and I get that in syslog :
cd0(bt0:6:0): ABORTED COMMAND asc:2c,0 Command sequence error
Eject works fine though.
What is weirder is that the drive will play music on a 1.1.5.1 machine !!
IOCTLs are standard SCSI-2 so I don't think we have such differences
between 1.1.5.1 and 2.1 in that respect but I'd like to understand exactly
what's going on.
Heck, playing audio CDs was my primary reason to buy it :-)
