What else has to be done ?
Either as root or normal user the scanner cant be reached
I even tried
[usb] 0x03F0 0x2911
device auto
and set in roots .cshrc
setenv SANE_DEFAULT_DEVICE /dev/uscanner0
but device cant be found regarding to xsane ...
