what's the name of the modern hardware, that puts non-RFC compluant
requirements on ARP packets?  The old bug from 2011 mentioned Dlink DES 302=
8,
I bet that one is no longer relevant.

And what about IPv6 NA announcements? Do they need a transmission layer
hack, too?
