Peter tried to build a new one > and hit the problem he posted. You can unpack the file http://people.freebsd.org/~dfr/ia64-root-11102001.tar.gz into a fresh 200Mb filesystem. You will need to tweak SSC_NSECT in sscdisk.c to get the right size (SKI has no way of telling us the actual file size). Alternatively, just copy a few of the binaries from this set into your existing filesystem - you probably only want /bin and /sbin.
