Hi, I’m using VIMAGE on stable for more than a year now. No issues, but I did apply patches from CURRENT. As far as I know those patches have not been MFC’ed. I have applied the following commits. 306684, 307234, 312942, 313000, 313167, 315130, 315135, 315468, 315740, 317399, 320847 Peter > On 18 Jul 2018, at 01:56, Raja Sivaramakrishnan via freebsd-net <freebsd-net@freebsd.org> wrote: > > Hello, I have a question about the VIMAGE option. It appears that it has been enabled by default forFreeBSD 12. Have there been any significant changes in this version to allow this option to beenabled by default? I would like to enable this option primarily to use different vnets in myapplication and am trying to assess whether it would be safe to enable the VIMAGE option in FreeBSD 11.x. Is it marked as experimental in 11.x because of some pending development?Or was it not tested sufficiently in 11.x to be enabled by default? If a different mailing list ismore appropriate for this question, please let me know. > Thanks, > Raja > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-net@freebsd.org mailing list > https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-net > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-net-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
