Did I just mess something up in /proc ? This message comes from one of the sanity checks I added when I cleaned up the chgprocncnt()/chgsbsize() implementation. You are the first to mention this problem, and I don't see how it could happen. For some reason, your kernel appears to think there are a negative number of processes running with a real uid of 0. Have init_main.o, kern_exit.o, kern_fork.o, kern_prot.o, and kern_resource.c all been built from up to date sources? Is there anything unusual running on your machine?
