I'm sure you're right. I guess I'm used to the system at work here,
where bugs get file and assigned quickly, but are then ignored, rather
than filed but not assigned quickly, and then ignored :-)

I just don't like the "bottomless pits". At least somebody is
marked responsible for the bug, even if they are fully justified
in not fixing it due to lack of time, etc.
