In the same VPC I have a system using a xn ethernet interface. I am running iperf3 between these two systems and getting just shy of 1Gbs network throughput, and ~13Kp/s. The c5.large system with ena interfaces has not had any problems so far. I've run several iperf3 TCP tests for 10mins each with no errors. As mentioned earlier, the interface flapping errors have gone away as well.
