I was looking for info to read before installing it, which is why I was looking at the books and web sites mentioned. Anyway, I installed isc-dhcp2 from the ports and it seemed to go okay except for one problem - dhcpconf failed with error code 1. I tried to install it seperately, but it will not install. The error is because it can't seem to find or download the popt-1.4-1.src.rpm. It tries 3 or 4 differant locations then gives up. And yes, I am doing this as root, else the isc-dhcp2 would not have installed, but it did. This is on fbsd-4.0-r btw.
