<http://www.alphazed.co.uk/software/path/>; for managing PATH, MANPATH and
other environment variables.

If you build applications from sources (as opposed to installing binary
packages), you might want to consider installing in such a way as to conform
to the guidelines presented at <http://www.alphazed.co.uk/admin/ofa-apps.pdf>.
