* Synopsis: ncr probe fails with CACHE TEST FAILED: ? write ? read * * State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback * State-Changed-By: mjacob * State-Changed-When: Mon Oct 1 21:55:32 PDT 2001 * State-Changed-Why: * Is this still broken for you? Is it broken with the sym driver? * * http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=22862 The sym driver works fine, but the ncr driver has to be disabled for the sym driver to have a chance. I don't know the current status because the system in question has a hardware problem (just discovered: the cpu fan is broken) that has prevented make world from working since 4.2-stable. I'll be able to test it for real in about a week. -Dave To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
