Hallo, in the chapter "10.7.3 Enabling IPFW on FreeBSD" as a way to enable firewall was suggested to compile the kernel. in rc.conf(5) I see a option "firewall_enable" for loading firewall module, if the kernel was not compiled with firewall support. maybe it should be mentioned in this chapter. so i had not to compile the kernel. or are there some disadvantages if using this option? suigres@t-online.de To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
