It should be written as:

        The default is to an inode for 4 (four) times the size of a
        fragment in bytes. That is, on a 4 KB/512 bytes FS, the default is
        to create an inode for each 2 KB of data and one for each 4 KB for
        a 8 KB/1KB FS.
