First, please don't send HTML to this list.

Second, it would really help if you would tell us what model of card
and laptop you have. In general, cards with a 'B' in the model number
are 32-bit CardBus cards and are not supported. I don't know if models
starting with "RE2" are working, but they didn't used to.

Finally, you will find PCMCIA support for most platforms MUCH better
under 4.4 than 4.2 with the added benefit of shared interrupts for
PCcard devices in most cases. This saves interrupts which are in short
supply in many laptops by using a single IRQ for both cards and for
the PCIC controller.
