Hi, On FreeBSD 4.3-BETA, I get some weird reports from syslog about the kernel. It seems like the console's output is interpreted in the log... For example, when I use sysinstall, I get a whole bunch ansi codes reported to the the console. When I compile, I get some weird messages that looks like compilation commands from the makefiles and sometimes, I get junk ascii codes.. I even get those messages when I'm in vi! Why is syslog reporting all those messages? It is really annoying.
