Thank you for your information
	newfs /dev/da1
	glabel label -v 250GB /dev/da1
	/stand/sysinstall (to create the partition )
	mount /dev/da1  /mnt/firewire
IT MOUNTED!!!!

Then I performed a reboot I get

Root mount failed: 6
Manual root filsystem specification:
  <fstype>:<device> Mount <Device> using filesystem <tstype>
                                       eg. ufs:da01s1a
  ?                               List valid disk boot devices
<empty line>           Abort manual imput
mountroot>
Automatic reboot in 15 seconds


I disconnect the FireWire device and it boots OK
