dvdbackup will produce a decrypted mirror image of many DVDs which
can then be burnt with growisofs provided you use a large enough blank. You
will undoubtedly find some DVDs which produce read errors in the process
and cannot easily be mirrored - I know of no good solution for such DVDs.
