Hi,

It's always a good idea to see someone email from the root account.
Can you login through it as well? via your normal root password?
Since that would make it so much easier to just take over your system :-).

Seriously: Do not sent email from root, you might be suspected to flaws
and then loose your root account. Since root is the highest possible
account, you should fear that :-).
