Hi Chris, I have not got an answer about my last remark about 'mail -u'. If you did not recieved my letter I repeat: The environment variable MAIL affects behaviour of -u option of mail command - mail alvays open file specified in MAIL variables regardless value of -u option. So, IMHO, this bug report is closed too early.
