-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Folks- I've been running my system from the 'current' system, with my system built last November. I want to update to 2.2, and no longer do sup -v current, but I don't want to go through an 'upgrade.' I liked doing my 'make world' at /usr/src. What I want to know is this; can I just download the source (/pub/FreeBSD/2.2-RELEASE/src, and des source) into my current system and do another make world, and be in 2.2-R? Seems logical, but I wanted to post what I plan to do in case anyone knows any reasons why I shouldn't. (FYI, the reason for this change is since the last sup I did, back in November, my system became 'pseudo-production' so I didn't want to screw it up too badly any more. ;-) - -- Virtually, Edward Wolpert --------- --------- wolpert@1i.net | 4A A5 96 0B 7D FE 5F F8 | 2047/4AB972BD 1996/09/21 | 3A F9 0E BC 77 3C 7A F9 | "It's 5:50 a.m., Do you know where your stack pointer is?" 4e75 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 Comment: Key at http://pgp.ai.mit.edu/~bal/pks-commands-beta.html iQEVAwUBMyyHdvrOoi1KuXK9AQGG4Af/T4pNf7CJxjoYACM8lyYvopNJ/sDI0nbC Onm2e5L0Z8FCBvvPGdvSlz1mkF04/47XgtJlF6ohnTLt97HVh2ZDXMhOMLQWDVIs Bgz79TaAggMCV+fHTSHvLhgvHcitmPAlX5poDLuwBGtpKAfCMoIlX+XTg3zvQPaL xmCPrykVuHsQGKrrTi7VhN1e5knxuop0zKz/vWngYvYCZd7nK13dT5X53rkITvEW CitjnqYhgRv7u/w1jFgNt3mn/q6K7vueWKD+cLxd770EqckGqkSg8sSrq6gTeWJx DZPMmMqGLjFAwZvPLG4RzWgXfFC4iTrH1OsfqXa9MRlWu+B+LcTCqg== =Dkyi -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
