Hello! I updated my 6.2-stable install from June 7th to July 17th version and can no longer run "Civillization Call to Power" -- a Linux SDL-using game. I did not rebuild any ports -- just the OS. On startup the process goes into tight loop with only occasional syscalls (according to ktrace): 53113 civctp RET old.gethostid 0 53113 civctp CALL old.gethostid(0,0,0,0,0xff7ffc30) 53113 civctp RET old.gethostid 0 53113 civctp CALL old.gethostid(0,0,0,0,0xff7ffc30) 53113 civctp RET old.gethostid 0 53113 civctp CALL old.gethostid(0,0,0,0,0xff7ffc30) 53113 civctp RET old.gethostid 0 53113 civctp CALL old.gethostid(0,0,0,0,0xff7ffc30) 53113 civctp RET old.gethostid 0 53113 civctp CALL old.gethostid(0,0,0,0,0xff7ffc30) It used to "just work" both on my i386 laptop and on the amd64 desktop systems. -mi
