https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=241494 Bug ID: 241494 Summary: zfs can't recover from drive-removal Product: Base System Version: 11.3-STABLE Hardware: Any URL: https://serverfault.com/questions/988835/ OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: mi@FreeBSD.org The only thing, that makes my scenario special is that the disk was part of TWO redundant pools -- a RAIDZ1 (the first 3TB of it) and a mirror (the remaining 900GB). As I replaced it, the machine rebooted unexpectedly and, upon returning, both pools remain UNAVAILABLE instead of being DEGRADED -- despite other pool-members all being healthy. This prevents me from replace-ing the pieces of the replacement drive into each pool. See the ServerFault link for more details (https://serverfault.com/questions/988835/). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.help
