I did not copy boot2 because it does not exist in /usr/mdec. Not even after make installworld. It exists in the i386 world, though. I managed to boot by telling the SRM: boot -file kernel.GENERIC dkc0 BTW, who collects packages, etc.? I installed the ports and am slowly compiling packages as I need them. I know the web page has a table of success rates...
