[-- Attachment #1 --] Hi, I'd like to recommend cherry picking commit 718d1928f874 on top of the stabweek tag for people using DRM kmod's amdgpu driver. It fixes longstanding bug PR 277476 (GUI freezes after some time, due to memory fragmentation) for DRM kmod 5.15 or higher (5.10 is unaffected). The patch has been reviewed and battle-tested by multiple people on different hardware for weeks to months, so we expect no regressions of any sort. That said, as the current plan is to MFC this change to stable/14 before releng/14.3, more testing, with possibly different hardware, is always welcome and would be great. If you test it, please report about your experience (even if it's just to say "it works", or "I don't see any difference") and your GPU. Thanks and regards. -- Olivier Certner [-- Attachment #2 --] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAABCQAdFiEEmNCxHjkosai0LYIujKEwQJceJicFAmfieewACgkQjKEwQJce Jif33g/+JJF5PA4qUWvdu950khN3HQ3GBmFMCddeSm7NnUpGbgpFpILgausmiAHn zsr7E0W8YT8rd1OrvKBELRcZdODDiP1AtmfP4oB1NHfSmQQAMeC95FntN5lbQlxk ouayYJunO6mlH8/PeiN7hjKAf5k8vFWnepfeXa10NFDzCrVhCHz2Wf5Mz43kbk3Q N0oKKPMlTfA5MicKBtjbGszXZiab5hx2EKgaPLFWATrPFyyGRUF0iKpkFry6pM5P XVXpXAb+6R9XxJvfv3MI5KZdXVbcJtLTxvL9m2jcm06fUpJNbrUdKxy15qo2XbXF Ahj5Sdnm0niDNe3+qLQECfxCzHUqakCgPK8p1dSr1iYy/vqyOxpIyDcHNPfBYROk sow8qwy2GBeWDF+pXWkjqndSlGItFBqbU846DPRRNK/KYOY15SlIs9UnIDzo6ipF t5OzPcCakOqhSix6Rb28ypRmjxaXCBOwWvvqh7GUVjS9AwLwV0CWpTmoGpxClPDQ KAR2n7NnJm6BZF4TurMrgnlLqPJBTJ5WlM9JSp6YkkVRGqyFTCqOGoEYcniK/ANo URm5GEHdsXbl9cELueBT9lwiP7aL16pItp5EBR9j4W57SIk0ymuinhJdZ4JZqozM whH7gQo+ficcEPH0njD8VaQUSCZHYUCXZ6Y+cAz3MLfRNPBR18U= =nW7q -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----home | help
